ACTIVITIES

CORNWALL HUMANISTS:

• Offer non-religious funerals, weddings and baby naming ceremonies conducted by our four trained ceremonies officiants, all accredited by the British Humanist Association.
  
  
• Have a seat on the LEA's Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education.
  
  
• Meet monthly, for discussions (see diary), and bi-monthly for socials.
  
• Offer speakers to schools for assemblies and RE classes.
  
  
• Provide displays for public libraries, etc.
  
  
• Represent atheists and agnostics on a forum at Penmount crematorium.
  
  
• The Humanist Book Service is hosted by one of our members.
  
  
• Produce a regular newsletter.
  
  
• Keep a watchful eye on local news, providing a Humanist viewpoint where necessary.
